​S​tick-Jumper - ​​​Stability for Boards Arranged One Above the Other

​Due to existing housing symmetries demands repeatedly arise that within the housing units PCBs are required be to be assembled on or above the other.

Often the connected PCBs are to be inserted into the housing unit using guide rails.

Accordingly the PCBs must be exactly mounted above one another.

​Unlike our other connectors the stick jumper consists of a very hard copper to obtain optimum mechanical stability.

The special feature of these connectors is that we offer them in various standard sizes.

The pitch is 2.54mm, assembled as a THT component to simplify.



​Construction Tips

​​​To obtain a highest possible pressure stability for both superimposed boards, we recommend the installation of two stick jumpers, with an assembly offset of 90 degrees (T-shape, or L-form).

This will improve the static pressure load in such a way that two different axis are stabilized.

​​​Current Load Capacity

​​​The stick jumper consists of 250μm thick copper, resulting in relatively high current load values.

By parallel connection of individual tracks, correspondingly higher values can be reached.
